Several things in Costabella have changed due to the severe damage of the super typhoon that struck across Visayas but most of you know and love definitely can still be realized. Changed to better existing standards while not forgetting our genuine, warm and caring service. To set your expectations, our The Boardwalk is not available until further notice. It drove us to despair that it was all ruined. There are plans of reconstruction however there is no time period yet.

Costabella is a beachfront property and the beach is within walking distance from the rooms so it is very convenient for our guests

Very Good

A good option, on the beach, a short drive from Cebu Mactan airport.

Food at the resort restaurant is overpriced and very average. The resort is situated in an isolated location, far from shops, cafes and restaurants. Whenever you wish to eat outside the resort, you are required to travel by taxi.

Reasonable place to stay for a few nights. Very relaxing and good pools for children and families

Good staff. No music by the beach or pool. Good beach with plenty of chairs.

Sea disappears at low tide leaving a trek to get into swim. Rooms are a little tired. Jetty needs re-building.

Refreshing welcome drink at arrival. Great facilities. Pool was perfect to entertain both kids and adults. Dining area was large and buffet was good. Beachfront dinner on Christmas evening was perfect. Staff gave us absolute VIP treatment. Bar was great for after dinner cocktails and a game of Pool or watching sports. Amazing staff!

It was a good resort for a relaxing vacation.

The staff are friendly, helpful, and diligent. The room and bathroom was very spacious and clean. It had an awesome view. Our room was a "pool view" room, but it actually also has a beautiful ocean view from the window, balcony, and from it's front door. The bed and numerous pillows were comfortable. The pools were great--big, clean, fully supervised with lifeguards. They also had lifeguards at the beach keeping an eye on people who kayaked or snorkeled. The beach was cleaned and raked daily. The spa was fabulous. We also loved the Luna Bar with its beautiful decor and delicious cocktails. Last, I loved the decor that pays homage to Filipino craftsmanship and culture.

The food was pricey. The breakfast buffet had some good food, but the price was more than I would've wanted to pay each morning--especially since I am not a big breakfast eater. The a la carte breakfast options were also priced so high, that you might as well pay for the buffet. The location was quiet and away from main roads, but this also made it difficult to get to places. We couldn't really walk anywhere. We had to take a Grab, taxi, or tricycle.

Good service!

The staff was so helpful, nice and welcoming! The service was really good. They have a big restaurant and room service as well so no need to go from the area if you don't want to as long as you are willing to pay for it. It was nice to have both swimming pools and the beach in the resort.

It is a family friendly hotel so be prepared for lots of children. If you want a balcony to the room, make sure you book the room with "private balcony", otherwise you get an attic where everyone pass through.

I love every bit of this place. The facilities, the bed, the pool, the staff, the breakfast and the calm beach. It was a great experience for me and my family (especially for our kids) Will definitely come back to Costabella!

Probably the cost of the food. They're quite expensive but the excellent service made up for the high priced food.

There's a lot of things I like in this hotel. They have a kiddie korner which caters to the kids who want to play, draw, and do some creativity. The pools and the beach. They have an outdoor playground near the beach. The food was ok, a lot of options. The staff were very polite and hospitable. Our room was big and the bed was really huge. So nice with the balcony which we can see the pool and the beach. This is a good place if you are travelling with kids.

The aircon in our room wasn't working well, it was pretty old. It doesn't produce coldness. It's like only a fan. The temperature in our room was 27° during the day. Don't try to order halo-halo. It's not worth it. It's not accessible by foot. You always have to tell the front desk if you want to get a taxi to go somewhere.

Value for money. Great service. Friendly and helpful staff. Good food. Rooms are big, and the beds are comfortable..

The deluxe poolside rooms don't have elevators. So if you're traveling with big luggage and your room is on the third floor, it will be a workout. The staff will definitely help you, but as a healthcare worker working with the elderly, this set-up is not ideal. (The other poolside rooms with the deck/veranda have an elevator access.)

Perfect for families. Meh for young people.

Beautiful hotel inspired in Spanish colonial style. The staff are friendly. Perfect hotel for family holidays. Highly recommended the Island Hooping organized by the hotel. Just perfect.

The location is not good. There is nothing around the hotel so not too many options for eating outside. Its quite boring for young people because there is literally nothing to do. The food and activities are way too overpriced.
